At Your Name (Yahweh)

At Your name, the mountains shake and crumble At Your name, the oceans roar and tumble At Your name, angels will bow The earth will rejoice, Your people cry out

Lord of all the earth We'll shout Your name, shout Your name Filling up the skies with Endless praise, endless praise Yahweh, Yahweh We love to shout Your name, oh Lord

At Your name, the morning breaks in glory At Your name, creation sings Your story At Your name, angels will bow The earth will rejoice, Your people cry out

There is no one like our God We will praise You, praise You There is no one like our God We will sing, we will sing There is no one like our God We will praise You, praise You Jesus is our God, we will sing

Psalm 47:1-2 Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. How awesome is the Lord Most High, the great King over all the earth!

Is how we participate in worship important? The Psalms tell us many times to sing, clap, bow, shout, lift our hands and dance. Because we believe that every person has the freedom to worship as they wish, it is easy for us to view these encouragements as mere suggestions. As options for us to pick from. But there is also a clear sense that doing these things is actually good for us. Sometimes the heart is so bursting with worship that we have to dance. Other times we need to dance to awaken our soul.

HOLY SPIRIT give me the freedom to worship You with all I am. To know equally the value of silence and shouting, of dancing and stillness!
