Children’s Ministry Director

The Children’s Ministry Director at River City Church leads a vibrant ministry for children (newborn through 5th grade) and their families, aligning with the church’s commitment to Encounter, Formation, and Mission, and embodying our values. This role is responsible for casting vision, overseeing Sunday programming, and planning special events that foster spiritual growth and engagement. The director manages curriculum selection, volunteer recruitment and training, and ensures the safety and quality of all ministry activities. Additionally, the Children’s Ministry Director supervises part-time support staff and partners with parents to equip them to nurture their children’s faith at home. Strong leadership, administrative oversight, and a commitment to safety and compliance are essential in this role. The director also collaborates with other ministry leaders and the church staff for church-wide events and initiatives.
